At this year’s Annual Factoring Conference, hosted by the International Factoring Association at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in May, Tradewind was honored to moderate the Latin America Factoring panel where our Peru office’s Fabrizio Vásquez Curotto brought his expertise of the LatAm market to the discussion.
The panel pinpointed issues relating to factoring in Latin America and explored topics such as NOA under local law vs American law NOA, how to protect your company from foreign exchange risks, compliance issues in Latin America, and industries you should avoid.
As Peru’s economy continues to grow and trade proliferates in the region, factoring services are in demand now more than ever. Tradewind has recently opened an office location in Lima, where it is connecting with SMEs in and around Peru and providing them with financing tailored to their unique needs.
Tradewind is a proud member of the IFA and was glad to serve as resource for the factoring community gathered at the event.
